School projects

How does knowledge arise and who decides what knowledge remains invisible? What will the cities and legislation of the future look like? How will people talk in the future and with whom? Could robots, plants or animals one day be their friends? What new teaching methods are needed in order to open up students’ imaginations for new futures in a self-determined and participatory manner and guided by their interests?

In the exceptional school year of 2020/2021, twelve projects examine these and other questions. Accompanied by artists and experts, teachers and students from grades 5 to 12 will test the school of the future in experimental artistic set-ups. They will present their projects in participatory formats at the closing festival Dear Future, at HKW.
