Heinz Emigholz
Heinz Emigholz is a filmmaker, visual artist, writer and producer. Since 1974, he has made more than a hundred feature-length films and shorts; in 1978, he founded the production company Pym Films. Between 1993 and 2013, he held a professorship in experimental film at the Berlin University of the Arts, where he cofounded the Institute for Time-Based Media and the Art and Media program. He has been a member of the Akademie der Künste, Berlin, since 2012.
