Goff in der Wüste
110 min, German OV with English subtitles

Perception has the ability to "take in perceptible forms without matter" (Aristotle). Heinz Emigholz's cinematic studies of buildings demonstrate in their austere shots, their tactically cleverly balanced succession of inside and outside, their seriality, the analogy of a camera's consciousness to perception. The films challenge viewers to transfer the thoughts embodied in the buildings into their own – cinematic – experience.

Followed by a panel discussion with Anselm Franke, Heinz Emigholz and Marc Ries
