Children can be bought for money, thanks to reproductive medicine our own as well. For just a little more money, the technique becomes even simpler, soon it might become possible to purchase better genes as well. The same is true for health, from nutrition to medical care and life duration, the link to money. raises our life expectancy. (Bio)capitalism. But is that necessarily so bad? Doesn’t it reveal a certain morality? Can the interaction between capitalism and life perhaps be conceived differently? Perhaps in the Amazon, where the intervention of humanity sometimes increases biodiversity and increasingly winds are distributing minerals across the globe, or when it can be argued that capitalism slams the brake on the climate crisis, causing lower CO2 emissions by leaving a large portion of humanity in poverty.
