Disciplinarities

Blurring the distinctions between Earth processes and human history the Anthropocene incites us to learn new habits and practices of knowledge production. We need to look at what it is to “know” something but also how knowing in and of the Anthropocene centrally involves issues of non-knowledge in all its diverse forms. The aim is to experiment with “transdisciplinary,” sometimes even “undisciplinary” combinations of knowledgeskills, not to throw out deep disciplinarity, but to better capitalize on it.
