Wolfgang Schäffner

Wolfgang Schäffner historian of science and media technologies, is Professor at Humboldt Universität Berlin, teaches at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and is Director of the Cluster of Excellence Image–Knowledge–Gestaltung, and the Hermann von Helmholtz-Zentrum für Kulturtechnik (HZK), Berlin. He investigates material epistemology, architectures and the global transfer of knowledge, and the history and theory of analog code and structures.
