Dominique Pestre

Dominique Pestre is Professor at the École des haute études en sciences sociales, Paris. His research focuses on the history of scientific and technological practices and, more broadly, on the social and political history of science. He has written about science and knowledge production in the west and especially about the cold war and the neoliberal turn of the last decades. Trained as a physicist, he is also the author of several publications on the history of physics in 20th century France and co-author of a history of the European center for nuclear research.
