Anthropocene Campus | Earthbound Knowledge: Discussion
Fri, Nov 21, 2014 with Amita Baviskar, Natalie Jeremijenko, Wolfgang Lucht, Dominique Pestre, Andrew Pickering, Jürgen Renn, Rifka Weehuizen
What does it mean to be earthbound? Does the Earth learn from humanity? How are such questions to be thought, never mind answered? And are not academics ultimately nothing more than a pile of eccentrics who go unheard? An examination of the subject of “earthbound knowledge” to conclude the one-week campus program, with an introduction by Eyal Weizman, Goldsmiths, University of London.
