In 1970s West Berlin, the 6-year-old gets to know Anne, who is about the same age. Soon, the two are close friends: Metin shows Anne his Kreuzberg, together they invent games in the courtyards of their house. But can their friendship last in the face of the prejudices of the other German and Turkish kids? A poetic film, whose precise observations are a plea for equality and coexistence.
