For years, Bayram – played by the extremely popular comedian Ilyas Salman – has been saving up from his wages as a street sweeper in Munich to buy a luxury car. Now, he takes his new, gold Mercedes 350 SE on a journey through Turkey to his native village in Anatolia, where he intends to impress his former neighbors, and especially the first love of his life, with his shiny car. But the journey turns into a tragi-comic odyssey that takes its toll on his four-wheeled darling.
