Mundovivo

Mundovivo is more than a band, it is an independent label and an artistic network too. Keyboarder/composer Rodrigo “Subhira“ Cepeda and guitarist/composer Andres Condon have been bringing Chilean bands together since 1993. But they also release their own albums.

Condon experiments with sounds drawn from nature and the entire gamut of string instruments from cuatro through mandolin to guitar. Cepeda’s musical range runs from chamber orchestras to Electronica. Also performing in Berlin is Sol Aravena aka “Muza”, with her seductively floating voice – one of the artists who brought about a renaissance of music in Chile after the Pinochet dictatorship. They’re coming to the WASSERMUSIK Festival 2011 with a specially compiled set inspired by the northern Chilean Atacama, the world’s most arid desert.
