Danish Zigzag – Come and let us zigzag your head

Live-Acts

aarhusE.dk, an outtake from DIEM, the conservatorium for electronic music in Aarhus, presents eleven Danish electronic artists.

4 pm Badun – this group is developing a new genre crossing abstract-digital sound design with IDM and the spirit of Seventies fusion jazz. They have one strict rule: any sound they use has to be their own creation.

4 pm Dustdive – this new project by the German-Danish artist Manu Grünberg was inspired by techno musicians such as Bjørn Svin, Christian Vogel or Juan Atkins. A surreal sound trip.

Wayne Siegel – is one of the central figures on the Danish electro music scene. Most of his work simply refuses to be pigeon-holed. He combines electronic elements with classic musical skill and brings computers and live musicians together.

4.15 pm Maulex – experimental electro music that slowly reverberates around the room.

4.45 + 6 pm Kati Linek – this Czech-German-Danish electro-artist experiments with every acoustic phenomenon the world has to offer: everyday sounds, toy instruments, computers and human voices.

5 pm Vectral - aka Soren Lygso, his concerts are audio-visual experiences in the universe of abstract digital sounds.

5.30 pm Bjørn Svin – this charismatic live performer creates experimental music along the lines of rave-hip hop-fusion-techno-jazz. And you can dance to it, too.

5.30 pm Morten Riis – in his quest for new sound material, Morten Riis stretches the limits of technology and creates a new aesthetic of technological imperfection.

6.15 pm Voks – since 1996, this duo, made up of Mikkel Pihl and Ea Borre, use mechanical paper machines and home-built organs for their live shows.

7.25 pm Band Ane – the Danish artist Ane Østergaard captivates her audience with melodic compositions mixing electro with pop, and children’s songs with happy hardcore.

7 pm Snöleoparden – Jonas Stampe alias Snöleoparden combines a preference for instrumental music with sound experiences gathered on the road, mainly in India, Pakistan and Morocco.
