Imagine being your own human guinea pig. Jessup, a scientist, isn’t afraid of anything. Hallucinogenic drugs and an isolation tank – and his adventure trip into the unconscious begins. Where is the psyche? What thoughts does it generate? Everything is allowed, isn’t it? In times in which telepathy, drugs experiences and thought control are on the agenda and sponsored by the army, four scientists fight over everything – over basic ethical values such as their own individual role in society. The protagonist is an impulsive man, with the character of a Dr. Faust.
