Knowledge Spaces of Our Society: Cultural Education Sites

Cultural institutions – whether museums, galleries, theaters or even building culture centers – always have an educational mission. They have always been places of education and mediation where cultural knowledge is passed on in society.

Against the background of the Education Shock exhibition, the participants in the discussion ask: How can these extracurricular places of learning and knowledge spaces evolve today? To what extent do they have to adapt to changed needs and future necessities to implement their educational mission?
