In two interactive installations in the former telephone booths in the upper lobby of HKW Studio Moniker address the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and aspects of human corporeality: Repeat After Me is a voice without self. How can we communicate with this machine? How does one behave in the face of Artificial Intelligence that extracts visitors’ voices and feeds them to a chorus of cyborg voices?
Do Not Draw a Penis is a machine censor that erases phallic doodles while collecting and feeding them into an ever-growing archive.
On Sunday, Studio Moniker presents the two installations, which will be permanently available at HKW from now on.
