Music film trip about a young London rapper.

Rage, a young rapper from South London, packs all his fury and energy into the rhymes he wants to put out on a record along with his pals Godwin and Thomas. But the trio is short on money, which Rage then tries to get through a burglary. When the plan goes awry, Rage, whose parents come from different ethnic backgrounds, is confronted with the everyday racist violence of the British police. Newton Aduaka’s visually forceful, music film trip from 2000 illuminates topics like identity, masculinity, and alienation.
