An accordion player on his final great voyage

For his entire life, the vallenato musician Ignacio has travelled from village to village with his accordion, which was supposedly cursed by the devil. After the death of his wife, he takes off on his final great journey. The teenager Fermin joins him, with dreams of becoming a musician himself. Without money they travel through northern Colombia, encountering various musical cultures, reaching hermitages, palenques, cloudhigh native villages in the mountains, and cross the Guajira Desert, accompanied by the rustle of the wind.
