Jihan El-Tahri
Jihan El-Tahri is a filmmaker, writer and news correspondent. She has served as a member of the Executive Bureau of FEPACI (Federation of Pan-African Cinema) and as the Secretary General of The Guild of African Filmmakers in the Diaspora. Her work focusses on political history and conflicts in Africa and the Middle East where she previously worked as a correspondent for British and American news agencies. Since 1990, she has directed and produced documentaries, including the trilogy Egypt’s Modern Pharaohs (2016), The House of Saud (2004) and Behind the Rainbow (2008).
