Joseph Croitoru

Joseph Croitoru is a historian and journalist. He writes for German-language newspapers and radio, focusing on the Middle East and Eastern Europe. In 2021 he received the Peace Prize of the Geschwister Korn und Gerstenmann Stiftung. Most recently, he published Al-Aqsa oder Tempelberg. Der ewige Kampf um Jerusalems heilige Stätten (2021), a book on the history of Jerusalem’s holy sites.
