Olaf Nicolai

Olaf Nicolai's work has been shown in numerous international solo exhibitions, most recently at Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz (2020), MUMA - Museum of Monash University, Melbourne (2019), Kunsthalle Wien (2018), and the German Pavilion at the 56th Biennale di Venezia (2015). His awards include the Art Prize of the City of Wolfsburg (2002) and the Karl Sczuka Prize for Radio Art (2017) for his contribution In the woods there is a bird... to documenta 14. He teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich.
