Sharon Macdonald

Sharon Macdonald ist Alexander von Humboldt-Professorin für Soziale Anthropologie am Institut für Europäische Ethnologie der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Sie leitet das Centre for Anthropological Research on Museums and Heritage und das Forschungsprogramm Making Differences in Berlin: Transformation von Museen und Kulturerbe im 21. Jahrhundert. Sie leitet auch das Profusion-Thema des Heritage Futures-Projekts, das vom Arts & Humanities Research Council finanziert wird, sowie das Arbeitspaket Contentious Collections des TRACES-Projekts (Transmitting Contridential Cultural Heritage with the Arts) von Horizon 2020. Zu ihren jüngsten Publikationen gehören Memory lands: Heritage and Identity in Europe Today (2013) und International Handbooks of Museum Studies (2015).
