Life in a middle-class ghetto in the major city of Recife takes an unexpected turn when a private security company appears on the scene – one whose increasingly aggressive presence calls forth a fear of crime and violence that has been suppressed by the façade of prosperity and class arrogance. Fed by the ever-present background noise of barking dogs, construction sites, or the scratching of a key on the paint of a car, this ultimately triggers an outbreak of paranoia… With actor Irandhir Santos from “Tropa de Elite 2” (“Elite Squad: The Enemy Within”).
