Francesco Sbano, who was born in Calabria in the sphere of influence of the ’Ndrangheta, has for two decades explored the phenomenon of the “Honorable Society.”

In addition to numerous photo reportages and the documentary film Uomini d’onore (Men of honor), he has released the CD trilogy “La Musica della Mafia,” whose history, codes and character he illustrates here.
