Böse Lounge 2 - Evoking Lwa Ginen

The Haitian-born musician and composer Val Jeanty – protagonist in the New York chapter of “United States of Hoodoo” – leads her listeners into the realm of the creative unconscious.

In her compositions and installations, produced with turntables, percussion and electronics, she invokes the spirits of the Lwas, Legba, Zaka and Dantor. She has performed at such festivals as Jazz à la Vilette and the Venice Biennale.
