Weltkulturerbe Doppeltes Berlin

As part of the “Open Monument Day 2012", the initiative aimed at getting the duplicated buildings of the “Dual Berlin” included on the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage sites, introduces itself in its office at the HKW.

Afterwards, visitors will have the opportunity to talk to representatives of the initiative, or to become part of it by suggesting further pairs of “duplicated buildings” that might be proposed for the list or by contributing materials for the initiative’s collection. The initiative welcomes pictures, documents and films from the proposed buildings’ pasts, including private recordings - or simply just your own anecdote about one of the buildings. Your material can be copied straight away in the office so that you can take it home with you immediately.
