The Deutsche Kulturforum östliches Europa e. V. (German Cultural Forum for Eastern Europe) in Potsdam presents the Georg Dehio-Book prize for the fourth time in 2010. With this award, endowed by governmental appointees for culture and the media, the Cultural Forum honours authors who deal in a well-founded and differentiated manner with the traditions and interrelations of Eastern Europe.

This year the main prize goes to Martin Pollack and the honorary prizes go to Wlodzimierz Nowak and Joanna Manc. The award ceremony will take place this year, as in 2008, as a part of the international literature festival berlin.
