Pictures and sounds from Palestine, Nazi Germany, Latin America and Vietnam are cut, intermixed and transposed. At times disturbing, this montage zeroes in on the arbitrariness of film as a medium for reflecting reality and conflict. It is also a work of self-criticism, dissecting Jean-Luc Godard’s own manipulative 1970 portrayal of the struggle of the PLO.
