Harun Farocki’s film looks at a Baroque painting showing details of the streets and buildings of the silver city of Potosí. Addressing the effect of data on the body of actors and the presence of these bodies in a world defined by data as space, A.I. is the Answer imagines the future of our bodies in their data-defined space. One letter creates connections between paradises, colonial smart towns and digital capitalism.
