An authentic documentation of the scene at the end of communist East Germany between stars like Silly and Punk underground like Feeling B., in which played such artists as Flake Lorenz and Paul Landers – now of Rammstein. “Cries and Whispers”, broadcast on East German television, shows the musical spectrum as well as the feeling for life between wrath in back courtyards and bicycle tours to the Baltic Sea beach.
