The Odyssey of a Haitian in exile in poetic images

The sad man in a white shirt and tie is in search of work, money to survive, and a place to sleep. The former accountant seems uprooted and disturbed. He once had a secure living in Haiti, speaks several languages, used to work as a teacher. Now, he wanders through the vast city of Santo Domingo, attends a religious service, and finds a temporary place to stay on an unfinished construction site. In poetic images, with meditative rhythm and not without gentle humor, the film pursues the labyrinthine paths of its protagonist.
