How closely related are rock shows and totalitarian party propaganda?

The Gesamtkunstwerk from Ljubljana, which emerged from the Neue Slowenische Kunst movement over 30 years ago, sets out to provoke, or at least irritate — most recently at the invitation of the North Korean “Committee for Foreign Cultural Relations.” At HKW, the band will be playing part of its program from Pyongyang.
