A love affair between Hippie culture and Indian music: The Incredible String Band was the only Scottish band to play Woodstock in 1969. From the beginning they were open to influences from around the world, weaving British folk with North African, and most importantly, Indian sounds.
In an exclusive concert for Wassermusik, founding member Mike Heron performs, amongst others, with the Pakistani sitar virtuoso Ashraf Sharif Khan.
