Konkani Music, a mix of jazz, rock n roll, Latin American rhythms, Portuguese influences and pop-like tearjerkers, developed in Goa from the 1920s to the 1970s. On the trail of central figures such as trumpet player Chris Perry or the legendary singer Lorna, sound engineer Sigrid Pfeffer explored this incredible mix, compiling the CD “Konkani Songs” in 2009.

For Wassermusik she has succeeded in convincing Konkani musicians, with the support of Dutch trumpet player Saskia Laroo, to perform as the All Stars band.
