For over 20 years, Patrick Forge, trailblazer for the Brazilian sound on British radio station Kiss FM in the 1990s, and Chris Franck have conducted their very own field research into Brazilian music.

Their sound experiments under the name Da Lata result in surprising innovations, and now, after a ten year break, they are back with a new sound: No more studio-based electronic innovation, but a stage show with a raw live spirit - London Tropicalia, Afro-Brazilian with British attitude and an unerring instinct for a danceable sound. With a virtuoso global family of musicians, the core duo has mutated into a multi-piece band with “Killer Groove” (“Guardian”).
