Having explored Brazil’s musical landscape as a child, followed by the USA and Europe, the singer, guitarist and composer Monica Besser’s musical roots are widely scattered. And it is precisely this musical and linguistic diversity that provides the inspiration for her artistry.

After “Fina Flor”, a female Forró band, she began her career as a singer-songwriter. Music for films and stage plays alternated with international tours, before she finally settled in Berlin. Her last album “Fusion Rocks”, an intimate distillation of her travel experiences and work with renowned musicians, was again produced in Brazil, in Rio. A light and carefree excursus through different musical universes.
