Concerts in June and July bring three legends of the Brazilian music scene to HKW’s stage.
Martinho da Vila collaborates with old companions and up-and-coming stars on his latest album Mistura homogênea. At the HKW concert, Mr. Samba and his musical family will present new songs and dance to old hits.
Gilberto Gil unfurls his broad repertoire for his show Nós a gente – We the People together with family and friends. It is a homage to musical diversity – Tropicália, samba, reggae, Música Popular Brasileira – and to life itself.
Gal Costa celebrates half a century of music history with songs from her stage career. At HKW she presents new arrangements of her many hits and pieces from her latest album As Várias Pontas de Uma Estrela.
