Ana Carolina Bierrenbach

Ana Carolina Bierrenbach received academic training in architecture and urbanism as well as history. She obtained her master degree from MAU (Universidade Federal da Bahia) and her PhD from ETSAB (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya). Both her MA thesis and PhD were on Lina Bo Bardi. She is currently professor at Faculdade de Arquitetura of Universidade Federal da Bahia. Bierrenbach is the author of many articles about Bo Bardi and other issues related to modern architecture and its restoration.
