John Street
John Street is a Professor of Politics at the University of East Anglia. His research and teaching focuses on the politics of media and culture. His most recent work on music and copyright was part of research projects funded by CREATe, a multi-institutional UK programme on intellectual property and the creative industries. The results have been published in a variety of journals, including Political Studies, Media, Culture and Society, European Journal of Cultural Studies and International Journal of Cultural Policy. He is the author of several books on politics, media and popular culture, including Music and Politics (2012) and (with Sanna Inthorn and Martin Scott) From Entertainment to Citizenship (2013).
