Joe Bennett

Joe Bennett is an expert witness forensic musicologist. He advises music lawyers, publishers, artists and songwriters on matters of plagiarism and musical similarity. He is Vice President for Academic Affairs at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. His academic research focuses on the creative practice and psychology of songwriters. In his previous role as Professor of Popular Music at Bath Spa University, Bennett launched the world’s first Masters degree in Songwriting.
