Helen Smith

Helen Smith is Executive Chair of IMPALA, the Independent Music Companies Association. IMPALA is a non-profit trade body established in 2000 to help European independent music companies represent their agenda and to promote independent music in the interests of artistic, entrepreneurial and cultural diversity. Smith drives the organisation's key strategies with the board on a political, commercial, and promotional level. Among IMPALA's milestones is Europe's first ever class action court case on a Major label merger and its tough stance on digital platforms.
