Benjamin Jörissen

Benjamin Jörissen is Professor of Education at Friedrich Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. He researches education and mediality, educational theory of identity and the subject and cultural and aesthetic education in digital and global contexts. He is the speaker for the Interdisciplinary Center of Aesthetic Education at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, management member of the Academy of School Theater and Performative Education and co-editor of the series Räume der Pädagogik (Spaces of Education) as well as the publications Subjekt Medium Bildung (Subject Media Education) and Vom Straßenkind zum Medienkind on space and media research in the 21st century.
