Anja Junghans

Anja Junghans, cultural scientist, has been the project manager at the Zukunftsakademie NRW (Future Academy North Rhine-Westphalia) since 2014. Prior to this she worked in Munich, amongst others for the urbanauten, an interdisciplinary debating club for public spaces, for the “Büro für Hafenangelegenheiten”, and the Department of Culture. The focus of her work is the various forms of appropriation and negotiation of urban spaces and themes. She is the co-initiator of the discussion series STADTfragen, the Creative Nite, and the project Equal for Equal. She has been a member of the international Cultural Innovators Network since 2012.
