Surf

Beach Dropouts, Surf Rock and Wave Tunnels

SURF is the sound of the free play of the waves. Born on the beaches of California during the surf craze of the early 1960s – and not originally made world famous by the Beach Boys – surf music has been undergoing a renaissance ever since the soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino’s Oscar-winning film Pulp Fiction was released. Now, surf enjoys growing popularity – not least in Eastern Europe.

Kevin McAleer, author of the novel "Surferboy" will be leading through the Surf-weekend.
