Amira Zarari

Amira Zarari is a spoken word artist, photographer and community organizer born and raised in Germany of Yemeni-Eritrean descent. She is currently studying Middle Eastern Studies at the university of Hamburg and is part of the MOSAIQ association, an antiracist network for young adults. Zarari also hosts workshops on racism and she writes and performs poetry on socially critical issues. She is the winner of the i,Slam Art Award 2016.
