Wilfried Reichart

Wilfried Reichart studied French literature at the Sorbonne in Paris. After training as a journalist, he worked as editor at the arts section of the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger. Reichart was program director of the film editorial department at Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) and realised programs on Jean-Luc Godard, Jacques Rivette and Agnès Varda, among others. He has many publications to his name, including the Filmgenres series by Reclam Verlag. Reichart has also produced feature films, documentaries and essay films, for example with Sohrab Shadid Saless.
