Simon(e) Jaikiriuma Paetau

Simon(e) Jaikiriuma Paetau is an interdisciplinary artist. Their works are located between cinema, video installations and performance, dealing with queer decoloniality. Paetau studied Media Art at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne and Film at the EICTV Cuba. Their films have premiered at Documenta14 and Cannes Directors Fortnight and won the prize for Best Director at the International Cartagena Film Festival, among others.
