Vir Andres Hera

Vir Andres Hera is a mexican-born filmmaker and artist. Their work fluctuates between moving image, new technologies, orality and literature. Highlighting queer, Chicana and Black imaginaries, they question vernacular and scholarly sources in order to redefine the weight of colonial history. Hera is part of the editorial committee of Qalqalah قلقلة. and teaches at the Experimental School of Art Annecy Alps.
