L. Sasha Gora
L. Sasha Gora is a cultural historian and writer with a focus on food studies and contemporary art. She received a PhD from Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität München and the Rachel Carson Center on the subject of Indigenous restaurants in the lands now called Canada, which is the subject of her forthcoming book Culinary Claims. Her research concentrates on the relationship between food and migration, on restaurant politics and on how human appetites transform environments.
