Lutz Hachmeister

Lutz Hachmeister is a communications researcher, publicist and filmmaker. His post-doctoral dissertation Der Gegnerforscher (1998) focused on the SS security service. He was, among other things, director of the Grimme Institute and founding director of the Institute for Media and Communication Policy in Berlin and Cologne. His most recent book publication is Hôtel Provençal: Eine Geschichte der Côte d’Azur (2021), a cultural history of the Côte d’Azur.
