Irka Hajdas
Irka Hajdas is a geochronologist using radiocarbon dating as a chronometer applied in climate research, environmental studies, archaeology, cultural heritage and forensics. She gained her doctorate from ETH Zurich and she is a lecturer at the Geology Department, ETH Zurich. Hajdas is the president of the Climate Division at the European Geosciences Union and member of the European Association of Archaeologists.
